‘Dark Souls 3’ Latest News: Release Date Leaked; Collector’s Editions Also Announced!

For the new "Dark Souls 3" news, the release date of the game has been revealed in a leak image, according to PC Gamer.

Recently, "Dark Souls 3" gameplay videos were revealed that shows information about the gameplay. It also had the lighting feature that "Bloodborne" had. There were also some screenshots revealed with information about the new features of the game.

The leaked images of the upcoming game have the release date which stated it will be out on April 12, 2016. A gaming website suggests that a PC gamer should hold off for a while since in the past, the PC version of "Dark Souls" were released after the console release, according to sources.

Moreso, the images showed the two special editions of the game, according to Gematsu. These special editions are called the Prestige Edition and the Collector's Edition. The Prestige Edition has the copy of the game, a collector's box, metal case, and a 40 cm Lord of Cinder figurine.

In addition, it has an A4 Hardcover Artbook, the soundtrack, cloth game map, and three Iron-On patches.

The Collector's Edition is the same with the exception of the figurine. This edition has a 25 cm Red Knight Figurine instead. The design of the box is also different.

Also in the new "Dark Souls 3" news was information on who was the source of the leak. The images were leaked by Geekay Games which is based in the Middle East, according to Gamespot. The gaming website speculates that the prices listed for both versions will not be the same in North America or Europe. The Collector's Edition costs 499 AED which is $136. The Prestige Edition costs 1,799 AED which is $490 in equivalent.

There is still no confirmation from Bandai Namco to make this official.
