Musician Justin Bieber reacts during the 2017 NHL All-Star Celebrity Shootout as part of the 2017 NHL All-Star Weekend at STAPLES Center on January 28, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.

Justin Bieber's third worldwide tour "Purpose World Tour" ended on July 2 in London, England. There were 14 more shows in the United States, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Singapore that were cancelled and rumors claimed that religion had something to do with the cancellation.

On July 24, Monday, Bieber's representative vaguely explained why the tour was cancelled. The representative said it was due to "unforeseen circumstances" but did not provide any specific reason in a statement obtained by People.

On July 25, Tuesday, Bieber was spotted grabbing lunch in Beverly Hills, California. When asked about his decision to end "Purpose World Tour," the "Love Yourself" singer denied that Hillsong Church, which he regularly attends, played in a role in the decision.

Bieber even seemed to be clueless about the rumors that religion made him decide to stop his ongoing tour. After two years on the road, he simply needed to take a rest, he told TMZ.

Upon the "Purpose World Tour" cancellation, Bieber's manager Scooter Braun took to Instagram to thank the supporters and apologize to them at the same time. He posted a photo of a "Purpose Tour" poster with a lengthy caption.

"To the promoters who believed around the world thank you," Braun wrote. "To the fans from all over the world who took part over the last 16 months over 6 continents thank you. To Justin who gave it his all night after night thank you."

Braun took the opportunity to apologize to those who will not be able to see the tour. He said it was never their intent but the soul and well-being of a man he truly cares about came first and it should be respected and honored, he said.

Still, Braun made a promise that he and Bieber will be back. The manager assured the fans that the Canadian pop star looks forward to performing for his fans again.
