New ‘X-Men’ TV Show Live Action Is In The Works; Fox And Marvel Will Work Together!
There will be a new "X-Men" TV show live action series in the works and it will be two shows, according to International Business Times.
The "X-Men" movie series is one of the popular fantasy movie series recently due to Marvel comic fans around the world. It has expanded its cinematic universe and has made a lot of movie goers become fans of it.
Now, FX Network and Marvel Studios, the film and TV production branch of Marvel, will be partnering to produce two new live action TV shows based on certain comics from the "X-Men". This will be in the 2016-2017 season, according to sources.
The two groups will develop a drama series titled "Hellfire." This drama series is set in the 1960s and will follow the story of a young FBI special agent. This agent will discover a megalomaniac woman with extraordinary abilities that works in a society called The Hellfire Club that wants to take over the world, according to sources.
"We are thrilled to partner with Marvel to bring this world to television and build upon the vibrant mythology that has captivated fans for years," said President David Madden of Entertainment for Fox in a statement. "These powerful and dynamic characters are complicated and larger-than-life, the pace and visual imagination are unrelenting, and the story takes place during one of the most explosive eras in recent history."
Another new "X-Men" TV show is revealed to be in the works too which is titled "Legion." This TV show will be an "X-Men" series for 2016-2017, according to Fanbolt.
The TV show will be about the story of the son of Professor X, the leader of the "X-Men." The protagonist, David Haller, is diagnosed with schizophrenia when in fact he has special mutant powers that give him multiple personalities.
