Because of its huge popularity, EXO's comeback album "The War" has caused MelOn servers to crash. The power of excited EXO-Ls proved to be too much for the music site's capacity. As soon as the title track "Ko Ko Bop" was released, everything crashed on the MelOn site.

It really comes as no surprise that the amount of excitement generated by EXO for their summer comeback has reached record levels. Pre-orders of their album "The War" reached 800,000 and this was even before the teasers for "Ko Ko Bop" were released, Soompi reported.

All of EXO's albums all breached the 1 million sales records. However, this is the first time that the group has achieved close to a million in pre selling sales alone. EXO-L, the official EXO fandom have reportedly banded together in different parts of the world to support the pre selling of the album to buy it in bulk.

EXO also entered the charts at #1 after changes implemented in the system last February which has made it difficult for artists to enter the chart at the #1. Only two artists have managed to accomplish the feat - IU for "Palette" and G-Dragon for his "Untitled 2014," both songs which achieved all kills in all records charts as well. However, EXO has been so far, the only K-pop group to enter the chart at #1, as a testament to strong fan support.

The MV for EXO's "Ko Ko Bop" has also been viewed over 12 million times since it was uploaded last July 18.EXO-Ls on the comments section are leaving positive comments about the video and expressing how proud they are of the fandom and of EXO's latest project.

EXO is expected to make their comeback stage today on Mnet's "M!Countdown." They will also appear on KBS's "Music Bank" on July 21, MBC's "Music Core" on July 22, and SBS's "Inkigayo" on July 23.
