'Little Nightmares' News & Updates: Flotsam Locations Revealed; Next DLC Bound To Be Out In November
Game developer Tarsier Studios has just released the first downloadable content for their acclaimed escape-themed horror game, "Little Nightmares." Dubbed "The Depths," players now traverse this watery horror as they try to avoid the new antagonist and at the same time look for hidden collectibles within the new content.
Trophy seeking players of "Little Nightmares" are on the lookout for hidden green bottles (a.k.a. "flotsam collectibles") that are scattered within the new DLC. Per The Escapist, there are five bottles that are waiting to be found and here are their locations.
The first bottle is hidden in the sink where cage-looking metal crates can also be found. "Little Nightmares" fans will just have to move a small crate close enough for the Escape Kid to reach the sink and snag the first bottle.
The second flotsam collectible is located in a room full of gunk after coming out of a circular passageway. This part of the "Little Nightmares" DLC is quite tricky, though it easy to figure out. Before reaching the bottle, players will come across a room prior to the aforementioned where a lever can be found. Raise it all the way up and then lower it down to 25 percent. The kid will have to dive into the murky water where the circular passage can be found.
The third collectible is located in a room where a couple of boiler-looking machines connected by a wooden bridge can be found. This flotsam in "Little Nightmares" can easily be spotted as it is directly located next to those boilers. Players will just have to swim towards the floating boxes and leap to the platform where the bottle is placed.
The fourth bottle can be spotted provided that players pass the "Little Nightmares" DLC antagonist - The Granny. The kid will be led to a room where a tower of wooden planks can be seen. Players will have to climb it until they reach a wooden platform from where they will jump across to reach a ledge where the fourth collectible is hidden.
After defeating The Granny and pushing the TV into the water, players will be heading over to the next room where there's a staircase and a wall that is boarded out with planks of wood. Pull the planks and the fifth bottle will be found completing the flotsam collectibles within the "Little Nightmares" DLC.
"Little Nightmare's" "The Depth" trailer also provided hints about its next expansion. Bound to be out in November, the DLC entitled "The Hideaway" will be a fiery one as it was already hinted on the synopsis including the sudden increase of the Nome population hiding in that area.
