The upcoming "Ruler: Master of the Mask" episodes 35 and 36 will have beloved characters scrambling to stay ahead of each other in their quest for power. Avid viewers can expect to see a tense encounter between the fake King (INFINITE's L), Dae Mok (Heo Joon Ho) and Sun (Yoo Seung Ho).
Latest spoiler news teased of Sun's attempt to reclaim his place as the true King in "Ruler: Master of the Mask" episodes 35 and 36. Following Hwa Gun's (Yoon So Hee) deadly sacrifice, the crown prince turned chief peddler finally decided to wrest control of the throne and fight Dae Mok.
The teaser clip for "Ruler: Master of the Mask" episodes 35 and 36, as released by MBC, showed Sun strategizing with his allies on how best to reclaim his crown from the fake King. It appears that crown prince will take advantage of a special event happening at the palace to enter the royal court and unveil himself as the King. Given that King has been known to wear a golden mask to cover his face, Sun plans to take the fake King's place and remove the mask in front of the cabinet members.
However, the fake King also came up with a plan to stop Sun from successful claiming his throne. Colluding with Dae Mok, it appears that the commoner Sun turned fake King anticipated the crown prince's move and prepared a trap. A scene in the said "Ruler: Master of the Mask" episodes 35 and 36 showed the fake King promising to capture Sun for Dae Mok.
Meanwhile, Ga Eun (Kim So Hyun) might have a hard time locating the jar that contains the evidence that will prove Sun's birthright. It appears that the fake King might have become distrustful of the would-be queen after that the crown prince is still alive and will closely keep an eye on her.
