Lee Hyori Realizes She Was Lonely In Her 20s, Reveals The Sad Reality Of Young Artists

The heralded Queen of Korean pop music recently kicked off her comeback. Along with the release of her latest song, Lee Hyori’s reality show has also started airing, which opened up the singer’s private life to the eyes of the public.

The latest JTBC reality and variety show, “Hyori’s Home Stay” kicked off last month and it has already been garnering tons of positive responses from fans and casual viewers. The said show was announced in April this year and it will star Lee Hyori and her husband, Lee Sang Soon as they open up their home in Jeju Island to strangers and celebrities. Even solo artist, IU stars alongside them as their help because she insisted on joining the show also as a way for her to take a break from her promotions.

In the recent episode of the said show that aired on July 2, another new side to Lee Hyori was brought to light. The couple welcomed a group of guests that consisted of young girls in their twenties. The female guests made the air fun and light thanks to their energetic response. When Lee Hyori and her husband finally had some alone time, the former admitted that she realized something when she saw the group of girls being happy.

Lee Hyori revealed that she realized that she was actually lonely during her mid-twenties. She explained that after seeing their young guests being so lively with another as they share stories and giggle, she realized she never experienced such when she was their age. She further explained that she was never able to go through this experience because she was busy promoting since was earning a lot and became popular when she was in her twenties. She confessed that she felt weird seeing the girls being so friendly and cute with each other that she felt bad for the 25-year old Lee Hyori.
