Microsoft Unveils New Devices Powered By Windows 10

Microsoft has been pretty busy lately. After introducing its much-awaited Surface laptops and Windows 10 Creators Update, the Redmond-giant is now believed to be working on bringing the Surface Phone to the smartphone market.

The firm was expected to bring the Surface Phone back in 2016 itself. However, due to unknown reasons - the company decided to postpone the launch. While there have been multiple leaks and speculations that have revealed what the upcoming Surface Phone will look like, nothing can beat Ryan Smalley's imagination. The UK-based industrial designer recently posted some of his stunning concept art on the online platform. The concept device in his art, according to him is the upcoming Microsoft Surface Phone. He said that the art was primarily based on the on-going rumors of the Surface Phone.

According to a report published by MS Power User, since Microsoft recently patented foldable screen technology, the Redmond giant is expected to integrate the same in its upcoming Surface Phone. Even though, the claim has not been attested by Microsoft yet - it will be interesting to see them initiate the same. Ryan Smalley has interpreted the same in his art. He also added an exclusive Surface Note Pen and a camera that is capable of mixed-reality applications. Other rumored features of the upcoming Surface Phone include the fact that it might be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC. Apart from that, the device will pack a normal display and basic connectivity options as well. The Surface Phone will fall directly in competition with other big smartphones such as Apple's iPhone 8, Samsung's Galaxy S8 and Note 8 and others.

As mentioned before, Microsoft still hasn't made a formal announcement regarding their upcoming Windows-based device. However, it is believed that they will do so by the end of 2017 or maybe even towards the beginning of 2018.
