Nokia 9 To Pack Not 4GB But 8GB RAM
HMD Global-backed Nokia took the market by a storm earlier this year when they took the wraps off its revival of the classic 3310 feature phone along with several mid-range Android-enabled smartphones including Nokia 3, 5 and 6 devices. Now that the company is done with that, it seems like the Finnish firm has time to concentrate on its heavily-speculated Nokia 9 smartphone.
The Nokia 9 device is expected to fall in the high-end category and will be a tough competitor to other big brands in the market including Apple iPhone 8, Google Pixel 2 and Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 smartphones. Now a new report that surfaced online recently suggests that there is a high possibility that the Nokia 9 smartphone might not arrive with the specs, as had reported before. The report suggests that Nokia is planning on initiating several changes in the upcoming device. The Nokia 9 smartphone was initially going to arrive with the high-end counterpart of Nokia 3, 5 and 6 smartphones - however, the company seems to have made changes just before the device went for FCC approval.
The first notable change is the device's model number. At first, the smartphone was given the TA-1004 model number, however, now the model number has been changed to TA-1012. The second notable change is with regards to the device's RAM storage. Fans were first led to believe that the Nokia 9 smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM, however; as per the information is given in FCC approved the document, the Nokia 9 is going to be coming equipped with 6GB and 8GB of RAM.
Apart from this, the Nokia 9 smartphone is going to come packed with a single-SIM unit and 5.3-inch display. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC and as for the camera, the device will sport a 13MP dual rear camera along with a 13MP front snapper.
