Balmain x H&M has been a source of frustration for fashion enthusiasts around the world. H&M launched a line of clothing, on-line and in stores, in collaboration with French luxury house, Balmain. However, nearly all garments were sold in minutes, leaving stores empty and the H&M website down. Shoppers are now wondering whether Balmain x H&M will restock their inventory anytime soon.

According to an article from Forbes, the Balmain x H&M collaboration is one of the most exciting lines the famous retailers have ever attempted. The extravagant collection had been teased for months and was also featured in ads with models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Jourdan Dunn.

Balmain x H&M is noted by its luxury, high-fashion appearance that includes heavy embellishments, fur, and beading on jackets and dresses. Garments are available for both men and women. Some of the most ornate pieces costs as much as $649.00, Forbes reports.

The line completely sold out on the same day it was released. Shoppers on-line brought the website down within minutes of the collection being launched.

H&M has yet to shed any light on whether there will be a restocking since the line was available as a limited-edition. Shoppers took to Twitter to express their anger over #HMBALMAINATION.

"Giving up on HM and #HMBALMAINATION. The beaded jacket is all sold out, the phone lines cant issue purchases and the site is a mess," posted by @inthefrow.

@BazeMpinja posted: "Maybe next time spend less money on the parties and more on your IT department? #HMBALMAINATION."

Anyone who did manage to buy from the Balmain x H&M line will have until November 8 to return.
