A gamer with a headphone plays the video game 'Overwatch' developed by Blizzard Entertainment and published by Action Blizzard during the 'Paris Games Week' on October 28, 2016 in Paris, France.

After its announcement in May, the Horizon Lunar Colony map is now available for all players of the Blizzard Entertainment video game "Overwatch." Among the things that come along the update are some tweaks, fixes and significant balance changes.

Set on the moon, the Horizon Lunar Colony map has a portion that includes a low-gravity area. This is not an exclusive functionality as it extends to other maps, as well.

"Overwatch" players can now adjust both player and projectile on any map gravity. This is recommended for those who are aiming for a unique gaming experience.

Six maps were in development as announced by "Overwatch" game director Jeff Kaplan in the Blizzard Entertainment website in April. The new maps, which are split evenly between QM/Comp maps and non-standard ones, will be released before 2018.

Among the characters, Roadhog has the most significant updates, according to Game Spot. His primary change comes to his weapon as his survivability has been improved after the hitbox for his head was shrunk.

From four, the clip size of the Scrap Gun is raised to five. With this, it can fire with a 30 percent increase in speed.

However, this also comes with 33 percent decrease in the damage of each bullet. In turn, this also made Roadhog's hook combo less effective.

It has also been announced that the release of new heroes will not be done in batches. In the production process, however, some of them are very far along and constant hero releases are not necessary, according to Kaplan.

Along with the most recent "Overwatch" update are Ana, Orisa and Sombra and those who wish to see the designs in concept art may be able to do so. Players intentionally losing games will have harsher punishment, as well.

Aside from the new heroes, the "Overwatch" update also featured new cosmetics. Players can expect each new hero will not always come with a full selection of what has been previously released before but will be developed over time instead.
