YG Entertainment’s youngest girl group is gearing up for a feisty comeback. Black Pink has just kicked off the promotions of their up and coming comeback this week. The group has revealed teasers and even an exclusive behind-the-scenes video. The girl group’s return is one of the most anticipated Korean pop comebacks this summer and even other artists are excited for it, too.

American singer and actress Jordin Sparks, in particular, has shown some love for Black Pink on their awaited comeback. The “No Air” singer was caught liking and even leaving a comment on Black Pink’s teaser for the group’s title track, “As If It’s Your Last”. Sparks's comment was an emoji that shows the hands-up gesture, implying that she is digging the group’s new song. Black Pink is set to officially release their new song on June 22.

Sparks has been in the Korean pop scene for years and not many fans are aware of this. Her first interaction with K-pop was when she got to mingle with Wonder Girls and Park Jin Young of JYP Entertainment. There was even a video of Sparks learning the dance of the iconic song “Nobody” from the members of Wonder Girls. At that time, she even showed interest in performing in South Korea and asked Wonder Girls to perform with her.

Korean pop has gone a long way since and various South Korean artists have made it all the way to international music charts, gaining fans from overseas. Aside from Sparks, other international artists have shown love for various Korean artists. Jaden Smith has shown his support for BIGBANG member, G-Dragon when the latter kicked off his comeback this month. DNCE has also expressed how much of a fan they were of BTS and even revealed that they were interested in making a collaboration with the Big Hit Entertainment group.
