Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Might Arrive Late August
The South-Korean tech giant Samsung is on a roll. The firm has been on a launching spree ever since they introduced their much-awaited flagship smartphone - Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Following which, the company introduced their mid-range devices, namely J7 Max and J7 Pro. The company, however, is not done yet. They are now speculated to be working on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phablet device.
There have been several reports published recently that suggest that Samsung is expected to take the wraps off its Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in Q3 of this year. According to a report published by Tech Radar, even though the exact launch of the upcoming smartphone has not been revealed yet, it has been known that it might be towards the end of August this year. There are others who believe that Samsung might take to the IFA, 2017 stage that is scheduled to take place in the beginning of September, in order to introduce their Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. Prominent China-based leakster took to Weibo to announce that the company will bring the smartphone between August 14 and August 20. However, this is half-baked information merely based on rumors and thus, must not be believed completely.
As can be recalled and according to a report published by Gizmo China, Samsung last year introduced the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone on August 2nd. The device was available for sale later on August 19th. Even though the smartphone didn't bring in a lot of success, thanks to its battery issues, it is believed that the firm might follow the same tradition as last year.
As for the specifications, several online reports have claimed that the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone might come with similar specifications as its recently-launched Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus devices. The smartphone will be falling in the phablet category, therefore Samsung might opt towards adopting a larger screen. The device will come accompanied with the company's upgraded S Pen as well. The phablet is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 836 chipset. There are other rumors that suggest that the smartphone might even be powered by Exynos 8895 SoC. However, the information has not been confirmed by the company as yet.
