Fans of "Rick and Morty" have long been waiting for confirmation regarding the show's third episode. The show-runners have often suggested that while the filming and production is done with, it remains frustrating to understand what's taking them so long to premiere the episode. If reports are to believed then it seems like while Rick and Morty will be a part of the show, Mr. Meeseeks won't be.

According to a report published by Express, "Rick and Marty" Season 2, Episode 3  will be titled "Rickmancing the Stone" and is scheduled to air sometime next month. But it appears like the episode won't be showing Mr. Meeseeks. The writer of the show, Ryan Ridley in a recent interview with Craig Cannon of Y Combinator hinted that Mr. Meeseeks won't be joining the cast of characters that are slated to return for the next season of the show. He apparently went on to state that he has had a discussion with his team members regarding Mr. Meeseek's fate in the show but they decided that they want to explore a different aspect of the show. The only way they could think of exploring the show is by ridding the show of Mr. Meeseek.

On the contrary and as reported by The Independent, the statements made by Ridley pretty much contradicted what Dan Harmon had to say before. At the 2015 Comic Con event, the show creator had suggested that he would be adding more characters to the show, instead of ridding it of old characters. It truly will be unfortunate to not watch Mr. Meeseeks in "Rick and Marty" Season 2, Episode 3.
