Noah Schnapp is one of the returning main cast members of "Stranger Things" Season 2. Recently, he shared some details about what the fans can expect from his character Will Byers in the upcoming sophomore season set to premiere on Netflix in October.

In "Stranger Things" Season 1, Will encountered the monster that escaped through a rift to the alternate dimension called Upside Down. Schnapp's character then vanishes after the encounter.

"You can see in the second season how the Upside Down affected Will," Schnapp told The Hollywood Reporter at the Netflix FYC Emmy event at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on June 6. "He is definitely holding back on what happens to him and keeps everything in."

The Netflix FYC Emmy event was also attended by Schnapp's "Stranger Things" co-stars Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard and David Harbour. They were joined by the series creators Ross Duffer and Matt Duffer along with Netflix head Ted Sarandos.

During the event, Ross revealed that the Upside Down plays a major role. Matt added that the gate to the alternate dimension was not closed in Season 1.

Five new characters will be introduced in "Stranger Things" Season 2. They are Bob Newby, Owens, Roman, Murray Bauman and Neil Mayfield played by Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen, Brett Gelman and Will Chase, respectively.

"Strangers Things" marked Schnapp's first TV role. However, he made his acting debut in 2015 when he played Roger Donovan in "Bridge of Spies."

On the other hand, Brown has previously played other TV roles. Before being cast on the Netflix series, she appeared on "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," "Intruders," "NCIS," "Modern Family" and "Grey's Anatomy."

One day before the Netflix FYC Emmy event, Brown was in New York City wearing a Miu Miu dress paired with Kate Spade New York shoes and an M2MALLETIER bag, according to Just Jared. The young "Strangers Things" actress attended another event the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Robin Williams Center.

As for Winona Ryder, "Strangers Things" was a major comeback. She appeared in some TV series in the past few years but it is the new Netflix series that made critics pay attention again to her acting prowess.
