Big Bang’s T.O.P. Drug Consumption Could Lead Him In Big Trouble
The Korea-based band Big Bang's lead T.O.P. who is considered to be among the biggest celebrity stars as far as Asian music industry is concerned, was in the hospital in Seoul, recovering his lost health in the intensive care unit. As per the hospital reports, this occurred due to an apparent drug overdose.
According to a report published by BBC, he was serving his military enlistment service as a policeman at the Seoul district sometime last week, when he was discovered in a state of unconsciousness. While, as per the hospital reports, the celebrity isn't in a life-threatening condition, he is still unwell and needs to recover his health completely.
According to a report published by ET Online, T.O.P. whose real name is Choi Seung-Hyun is in a very bad condition as per one of the doctors at the hospital. The celebrity rapper has been believed to undergo a drug overdose on a benzodiazepine, which was apparently prescribed to him due to his condition of anxiety and other such illnesses.
The medical team told the Korea Herald that he was in a state of stupor and deep sleep and wasn't responsive at first. However, later he only responded to strong stimulations. He is still not breathing properly and needs to recover completely. The report further stated that the singer might recover in a week's time. This isn't the first time T.O.P. has been embroiled in a marijuana controversy. Previously as well, he was involved in such matters in South Korea.
The latest drug overdose controversy has led to the suspension of his military enlistment service. A court hearing has been set for a date later this month and what has to be done with the singer's situation has to be decided by the court. It remains to be seen what exactly will be taking place.
