‘Rick And Morty’ News Update: When Will The Second Episode Be Released?

There is no doubt that the first episode of "Rick and Morty" shocked fans from all over the world. But despite the greatness that it brought, fans are still eager to know the release date of the next episode of Adult Swim's masterpiece. With that, when could Rick and Morty be visible on the small screen once again?

As per Express, the second episode of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 might be released this coming July. Sources told that the upcoming episode entitled "Rickmancing the Stone" would greatly resemble the classic film "Romancing the Stone" starring Michael Douglas.

Certain rumors speculated that the said episode might feature either the collaboration of Rick and Morty in saving Beth or Rick having a romantic relationship with someone. With that, fans are extra excited to witness the storyline of the next episode. Meanwhile, it is believed that creator of the show would surprise its viewers once again as it was already done in the third installment's first episode, which surprisingly aired last April Fool's Day.

During that time, fans taught that creator Dan Harmon just wanted to plant a prank to them. However, everything turned out true and fans consistently crave for more episodes ever since. As one fan admitted his desire to release the new season immediately, Dan Harmon replied and admitted, "What if I waved a magic wand and made the first episode from season three premiere tonight. Is that what you'd want?"

Moreover, the third season of the show is already confirmed to have its release this summer. But, the specific date still remains a mystery to everyone. Harmon, on one of his interviews, admitted one of the reasons why the series has been delayed. The creator told that the writers were currently struggling with writing good jokes, which is why the show can't be released yet.  Also, Celebeat reported that the team behind "Rick and Mory" is still in the process of finishing some of the episodes for the second installment.
