AMD has rounded off its Computex launch with the release of two new entry-level professional graphic cards namely the Radeon Pro WX 2100 and the Radeon Pro WX 3100. The two entry level cards are based on AMD's 14m Polaris architecture design. AMD wanted to target low-cost graphics workstations for architects, engineers, and other heavyweight design professionals.

According to the reports, AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 and WX 3100 offer 2.3 times performance improvement over the previous generation of FirePro W400 graphics card. The cards are even offering 14% improvement in benchmarks using Catia 3D experience against the NVIDIA Quadro P600. The entry level card offers a 12% performance improvement against the affordable NVIDIA Quadro P400.

With the new AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 and WX 3100, the company has claimed an even bigger gap in its benchmarking against both Quadros of 60% and 47% respectively. For the Radeon WX 2100 against Quadro P400, the AMD is offering powerful performance. The cards will fetch $149 and $199 respectively.

On the other note, NVIDIA is offering lucrative discounts on its Quadra P series. The NVIDIA Quadro P400 and P600 will be available at a wide discount with the P400 now available for less than £130 and the P600 at under £190. The AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 and WX 3100 will be available this month and the cost even includes VAT.

According to the Inquirer, the graphic cards enthusiastic are waiting for AMD's next generation Vega based graphic cards. But now they do not need to wait too much longer. At Computex, the company promised the first the probably expensive Vega Frontier Edition by the end of this month. The AMD CEO has even announced the release of AMD Vega RX release date just after the release of Vega Frontier Edition in July.  Meanwhile, AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 and WX 3100 will be serving the entry level graphic cards for the mid-range professionals.
