Nicki Minaj Shows Interest In BTS

People are still hung up on BTS' invasion at the Billboard Music Awards and it seems that the boys left quite an impression on the western artists they met at the event. BTS was adored and fawned over not only by the US press and media outlets but by the celebrities in attendance as well. The group was even acknowledged by famous artists such as The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Ansel Elgort, Steve Aoki and most recently - Nicki Minaj.

BTS seems to be huge fans of the famous female rapper as they could be seen jamming to and filming her performance during the Billboard Music Awards. Several fan cams of the members captured them dancing and screaming for Nicki Minaj as if they were at a concert. Recently, Nicki Minaj returned the favor by showing that she, too, like the boys back.

Fans of BTS found out that Nicki Minaj has been liking tweets about BTS on Twitter. When fans searched her 'Liked' tweets, they found a tweet with a video of BTS having fun during her performance. The tweet said, "Nicki Minaj's fanboys detected" and attached was a video clip of the boys cheering for her. The rapper liked another tweet that said, "K-pop band @BTS_twt dancing to @NICKIMINAJ's performance at the BBMAs" with another clip of the members rocking out during her stage.

BTS fans, or more notoriously known as ARMY, have been instrumental in BTS getting opportunities to connect to western artists. It was because of ARMY's consistent online presence that BTS was introduced to a wider US audience. It was reported because of ARMY also that BTS' Rap Monster was able to collaborate with his favorite singer Wale. Now that BTS is getting more love calls to collaborate with famous artists like The Chainsmokers and Steve Aoki, fans are hoping that a Nicki Minaj and BTS collaboration will happen in the future.
