Torrent Update: Major Torrent Websites Face Severe Torrent Crisis
Torrent websites have been in trouble for quite some time now. They have been under severe scrutiny from the sides of the government bodies as well as the technology-giants like Microsoft and Google. Despite the given strict compliance, the websites are just digging deeper to operate normally.
Major torrent websites such as The Pirate Bay, KickAss Torrents, Torrentz2, ExtraTorrent, Torrents.me, Zoogle, BitSnoop.Com, LimeTorrents, and Kodi's are trying all they can in order to ensure the normal functionality of their torrenting platforms. However, the fear further ensues that it is only a matter of time until the websites are slapped with a permanent ban.
According to a report published by Telegiz, torrent websites such as The Pirate Bay, KickAss Torrents, Torrentz2, ExtraTorrent, Torrents.me, Zoogle, BitSnoop.Com, LimeTorrents, and Kodi's have been going through a lot of negativity since the past couple of days. The platforms have seen functioning, but at the same time, their activity has appeared to have halted. The different operations carried out by government bodies by imposing strict policies have pushed these torrenting platforms towards non-existence.
In the recent past, several reports indicating that tech-giants such as Google and Microsoft have joined hands to work towards eradicating piracy off the internet has also further made these torrent websites stay under fire. Adding to this stress, the WannaCry ransomware attack which took place recently also apparently caused more trouble for torrent websites.
According to a report published by Express, the hackers who got hold of the latest 'Pirates of the Caribbean' installation, pretty much dumped the movie on the torrent platforms after Disney refused to pay them a ransom of hefty sum. This has further created more problems for these torrent websites owners, who might have had no clue regarding the attacks carried out by the aforementioned hackers.
