Produce 101's Lim Young Min Subject To Backlash From His Fans

Produce 101's Lim Young Min was recently subject to backlash from many of his fans after reports of him cheating on his girlfriend surfaced online. The fans of the celebrity singer were led to believe that Lim Young Min had pulled off the same deed as other stars such as Kang Daniel, Kim Dong Bin and Lee Ki Won had done. The latter were even penalized for the same, after which they had to issue a public apology.

According to a report published by Allkpop, Lim Young Min's fans were told that he wanted to perform songs such as "Never" and "Oh Little Girl," that were apparently against the rules. Most of the fans remained numb about the issue until one of the fans revealed it and thus, it spread on the internet like fire. 

As per another report published by Reddit, an unknown user who claimed to be Lim Young Min's girlfriend's friend suggested that the singer-turned-star was working hard and is a really nice person when one would get to know him personally. This post was reportedly ignored at first, however, it soon went viral as soon as Lim Young Min started making the headlines again. It was also found that after this issue occurred, Lim Young Min because the fifth-most-searched-for personality on the internet followed by Joo Hak Nyeon on the 10th position.

The fans are put to blame for spoiling the result for Lim Young Min's girlfriend as well, clearly going against the rules. There were many other posts by fans that suggested that they indeed revealed details of what exactly happened at KakaoTalk chatroom session. The fans even took several pictures to reveal that this incident had actually taken place. None of the representatives of Lim Young Min's have made any official comment as yet.
