MBC's "Ruler: Master of the Mask" return with Episode 11 & 12 on May 25. The show starring Yoo Seung-ho as Crown Prince Yi Sun, Kim So-hyun as Han Ga-eun, Yoon So-hee as Kim Hwa-gun continues to tell the story of 18th-century Joseon Crown Prince's fight against Pyunsoo-hwe and his love for Ga-eun. According to Soompi, new stills hint at Ga Eun's new avatar for her new mission. In an attempt to find answers to questions related to a family tragedy, she dresses up as a man.
The report suggests that the latest pictures show her hair tied up in a top knot and hidden under a hat. She is dressed like a man and will appear like that in the upcoming episodes. As revealed by a production staff, "Ruler: Master of the Mask" Episode 11 & 12 are expected to reveal the aftermath of witnessing her father's death.
"Kim So Hyun has thrown away her clean and neat appearance and the reason why she is disguising herself will be a main point of the upcoming episode. The story will focus on what happens to Kim So Hyun after she witnessed the death of her father," an insider said as quoted by Soompi.
Meanwhile, new stills also give a glimpse of Lee Chae Young's character Mae Chang. She happens to be a skilled poetess and holds knowledge of musical instrument gayageum. However, she keeps her true nature under the wrap.
A promo video for "Ruler: Master of the Mask" Episode 11 & 12 teases what happens next. It shows Ga Eun dressed as a soldier and involved in a battle. Also, it teases Ga Eun and Crown Prince's romantic meeting.
