Many were shocked when reports revealed that BBC is still uncertain if it would be producing the fifth installment for "Sherlock". Sources told that the said channel is still not making any hints regarding the possible installment of the show, which could be a great indicator that there won't be any renewal happening. However, fans are still greatly hoping that the show is just simply taking a break and that it would be launched once again real soon. With that, viewers are asking: what could be the perfect network for the show?

According to Celebeat, news regarding "Sherlock" Season 5 is still scarce online. Not just that, the show might be in danger as BBC did not give its viewers a hint regarding their future plans for the said TV series. It was remembered that the previous installment of the show aired last January with fans hoping that it could be renewed over and over again.

Also, fans are still optimistic that Season 5 could happen real soon. As a matter of fact, they believe that Netflix would pick up the show instead of waiting for BBC to decide on its renewal. Moreover, sources revealed that the "Sherlock" airing in Netflix became one of the most-sought crime TV shows on the said streaming series. It is believed that many viewers stream the show's episode online, which yielded to the show's low viewership ratings during its fourth season.

Meanwhile, TV Series Finale admitted that even the show's star Benedict Cumberbatch is greatly hoping that he could reprise his role on "Sherlock" Season 5. However, it was told that due to his work commitments and busy schedules, he couldn't insert "Sherlock" in his schedule. Also, executive producer Steven Moffat cleared that BBC could still possible renew "Sherlock" one more time as nothing is cleared yet with the network's decision.
