Apple's most-awaited event, World-Wide Developer Conference is scheduled to take place on fourth June this year. There are numerous rumours suggested that the Cupertino tech-giant is planning on debuting a new iPad Pro 2 at the event. If reports are to be believed then there is a high chance that the company might even update its pre-existing products at the event.

As pointed by Express, Apple is known to debut most of its major products at its WWDC event that usually take place mid-year each time. In fact, the firm often uses this occasion to announce major updates to its iOS and macOS as well. This year, Apple is highly likely to launch a revamped version of its iPad Pro 2 tablet. Moreover, the company is also expected to announce a Siri-powered smart speaker that will take on rivals like Amazon Echo and Google Home as well.

As reported by PC Advisor, the Apple Siri speaker is not the only product that will see the limelight this WWDC. Apart from that, the company is highly rumoured to release a new tablet, a smaller iPad Pro 2 that is said to come at a much more affordable price.

To recall, most of Apple's iPad Pro 2 products essentially fall in the high-end price category. Moreover, Apple hasn't updated its line-up in over two years. The original 12.9-inch iPad Pro was launched back in 2015 and since then, hasn't received any successor. This will probably change this year as Apple plans on debuting a new, 10.5-inch iPad Pro at the event. The smaller version of its predecessor will most probably will carry reduced bezels to fit the display size.

Moreover, it is widely rumoured that the iPad Pro 2 may even come with a special Touch-ID scanner embedded in the display along with several other software updates. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the above given details yet.
