Victoria's Secret Model Lily Aldridge Set To Wear The Fantasy Bra; Lingerie Costs $2 Million!

Supermodel veteran Lily Aldridge was given the honor to wear Victoria's Secret "Firework Fantasy Bra" later this year, according to Fox News.

For nearly two decades, it has been a tradition at the famous lingerie brand's annual fashion show to have a piece that would be the show's main feature, cites Vogue.

Following the footsteps of Candice Swanepoel, Karolina Kurkova, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bündchen, the Victoria's Secret veteran will don this year's fantasy bra.

The $2 million dollar bra has more than 6,500 precious gems, and it took a total of 685 hours of labor. The bra is crafted by Mouwad, the brand's traditional jeweler; and is adorned with 14 different precious gems like sapphire, garnet, and blue topaz. All these set in 18 karat gold.

The diamonds in this year's Victoria's Secret fantasy bra has diamonds; in total weighing more than 375 carats. The combined weight of all the precious stones together on the bra alone is just under 1,364 carats, according to sources.

Lily Aldrige's "Fireworks Fantasy Bra" is paired with a Victoria's Secret underwear donning 126 diamonds; with other 400 precious stones.

Claudia Schiffer wore the first fantasy bra in 1996; and last year, the famous lingerie brand decided to have not one, but two fantasy bras, worn by Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Aldridge is taking her role seriously. The Sports Illustrated model has started to work out twice a day; an hour in the morning and thirty minutes in the afternoon.

'[I'm] eating healthy. Lots of roast chicken and vegetables, eating clean." says Lily. "I mostly cook my own food so I know everything that's going into it. And I do a lot of Ballet Beautiful. I usually do two workouts a day leading up to the show."

Lily Aldridge is married to Kings of Leon front man Caleb Followill; and the 29 year old gave birth to daughter Dixie in 2012.

The "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" airs Dec. 8, at 10 p.m. eastern.
