BTS Album 'WINGS' Japanese Version 223,082 Copies Sold in 2 Days
BTS single "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" Japanese version continues to rock! In just two days, the "WINGS" didn't only sold out quickly but also continuously topped the country's huge music charts. This is surely another feat for the idol group and ARMYs.
According to AllKpop, BTS' "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" remained number one in Oricon's Daily Single, Tower Records' Chart, HMV Asia's album chart and iTunes Japan's music video chart since May 10. "WINGS" likewise sold 223,082 physical copies aside from it.
"Blood, Sweat, & Tears" is recorded with an American Hip-Hop label, Def Jam Recordings. On its Korean version, the single is already a smashing hit. BTS ranked #1in97 worldwide music charts with it too.
With the Japanese version, ARMYs will notice that it's arranged slightly different. It has a variation vibe that's perfect for those looking for a fresher feel of the song. Nonetheless, it will surely have the same love BTS had for their "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" Korean edition.
In another report by the Chosun Ilbo, BTS isn't only grabbing attention with their "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" Japanese version. They are also storming the world after confirming attendance to the 2017 Billboard Music Awards in the US.
"It is like a dream come true that we have been invited to the Billboard Music Awards, where top global artists gather. We are so honored by the invitation," Big Hit Entertainment told about BTS' attendance. BTS is presently nominated for the "Top Social Artist" category.
Last week, BTS also created a stir when ARMYs started the Billboard Music Awards fan voting for the boys. Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and Shawn Mendes' fans kept noting that its hard to compete with the South Korean band's fans.
Meanwhile, the 2017 Billboard Music Awards will happen this May 21 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. BTS will surely be a sight to see on this event.
