ZTE Nubia Z17 News: Specs Leaked With 8GB RAM

ZTE launched the Nubia Z9 Mini on May 18, 2015 in New Delhi, India.

ZTE is reportedly planning to launch another smartphone flagship called Nubia Z17, with specifications leaked online. The leaked specification came in the form of a screenshot and posted in AnTuTu benchmark listing. According to the listing, ZTE Nubia Z17 will have the model number NX563J. Major specs of the upcoming ZTE smartphone are also available from the benchmark listing.

Previous leaks reported that ZTE Nubia Z17 will be featuring 4GB RAM, but AnTuTu benchmark listing displayed that the smartphone will start with a whopping 6GB of RAM with options ranging up to 8GB of RAM. If the leaked document is accurate the Nubia Z17 would be among the first in the world with 8GB of RAM, making the phone among the more powerful out there. 

The leaked screenshot, which was posted on Weibo as well, also notes that ZTE Nubia 17 will start with 128GB of internal storage. As per the listing, Nubia Z17 will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor which should be clocked at 1.90GHz and paired with Adreno 540 GPU. It will also run under Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The handset will feature 5.5-inch FHD display with 1080X1920 screen resolution. ZTE Nubia Z17 has a dual-camera setup in a vertical orientation with 23MP and 12MP rear camera. The fingerprint sensor would also be placed in the back of the phone only, just underneath the camera. There are not details about the battery capacity but it comes with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. 

In the leaked screenshot of the listing, the ZTE Nubia Z17 will feature a dual-edge display with no side bezels based on the photo. It is also reported that ZTE Nubia Z17 would be available in three color options including gold, blue and gray. ZTE has been known to feature black as the main color for its flagship phone.
