Treyarch announced the new DLC in the "Call of Duty" game series. As the studio head Jason Blundell stated last week, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" classic zombie map will be remastered and release to the various gaming console system.

The upcoming DLC pack for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be called as the "Zombie Chronicles." According to the Treyarch Studio, they want to create a DLC pack for the fans who may have started playing the mode recently. They also revealed that they realized that a lot of their players have come in later game titles of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" franchise, and those fans haven't experienced the early storyline concepts that really set down the foundation of the Zombies map features.

"One thing we realized was that a lot of our fans and players have come in later, come in at the "Call of Duty: Black Ops II, or even "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," Jason Blundell said. "So those early storyline concepts, those early concepts that really set down the foundation of Zombies, a lot of people hadn't experienced them."

Treyarch will launch the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" new Zombie Chronicles DLC Pack this coming May 16. The DLC pack will be released first on PlayStation 4 consoles. The game developer hasn't been announced when the Xbox One and PC version will be launched, but we are sure it will release later after. Based on the past DLC launch of the game, another console version was released for the PS4, so the same thing might happen at this time.

In the other report, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" new Zombie Chronicles DLC pack is not the only upcoming thing for the series. The new "Call of Duty: WW2" is now also preparing for the upcoming release.
