Samsung Galaxy J7 News Update: Specs Spotted On GFXBench Listing With 2 12MP Cameras
Samsung Galaxy J7 was spotted on the GFXBench listings after it made rounds online since Mobile World Congress 2017. As per the listing, the upcoming Samsung handset might be unveiled anytime soon. GFXBench has gathered enough sources to present some specs of Samsung Galaxy J7 but the diagnostics page for SM-J730 is now unavailable. But the good news is, SamMobile has taken the screenshot of the specs and started to make rounds online.
According to the GFXBench listing, Samsung J7 will be powered by Samsung Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz which is paired with Mali-T830 GPU chip. It will be coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, but there is no word if microSD support is available. The new Samsung handset will run under Android 7.0 Nougat.
Samsung Galaxy J7 will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. Both rear and front cameras are 12MP. The rear camera features autofocus, touch focus, face detection, and regular LED flash. It can capture and record 4K photos as well as full HD videos. There is no information about the battery capacity too.
Previous reports mentioned that Samsung Galaxy S7 will offer fingerprint akin to the one with Galaxy J7 Prime. It will also feature a metallic build.
For the connection, the listing mentioned Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, and near-field communication (NFC). Samsung Galaxy J7 will have sensors that will include accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, light sensor, and proximity.
There is no official announcement too for the price and launching date for the Samsung Galaxy J7. Along with Galaxy J7, there is also a possibility that Galaxy J5 will also get launched anytime soon. Both smartphones are entry-level Android mobile devices.
Samsung Galaxy J7 has been certified by the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It is most likely that U.S. carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile will have Galaxy J7 in their stores.
