This new system update says will focus on fixing performance and another stability related issues. As stated in the note this is not a major update. Xbox One is one of the best console unit today, rendering good performance and gaming experience to gamers and users worldwide.
Meanwhile, Xbox Project Scorpio is expected to release this year. This console's few specs were also revealed recently showing good performance is about to experience with this new console. Based to these, the Project Scorpio is indeed the most powerful gaming console today, although it hasn't released yet.

Xbox Project Scorpio, on the other hand, will have an 8 core x86 CPU at 2.3GHz, using AMD custom GPU at 1,172MHz with 40 compute units, 12GB GDDR5 memory, 326GB/s memory bandwidth, 1TB 2.5 inch HDD storage, and compatible with 4K and HDR support.
