Google Pixel 2 Rumors: 6GB RAM Release Date ,Features, Specs and Price

Google Pixel 2 might launch this year. Despite of the lack of details, we expect something big in this new handset device along with its sister device the Pixel XL 2.

Last year when Google release the Pixel and Pixel XL handset devices, it becomes one of the most favorites. Good performance inside and elegant look makes it to the top. But this year, with the superb Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6, the latest smartphones, which consider the best smartphones today, what upgrades the Google should do to keep the name they made.

In the CNET report, they cited few things that the Google must upgrade to the Pixel 2 to compete with this year's latest smartphone. Aside from the Galaxy S8 and LG G6, more other smartphones are coming to enter in this competition as well, like the iPhone 8, OnePlus 5 and other more, so this preparation for the new Pixel Phone is not a simple task for the company.

First, the camera, battery and storage should be upgraded to give more points to the Google Pixel 2 phones. Last year Pixel has already a high-rate camera even compared to the latest devices today, however, there are some few things they should improve the Lens Blur feature.

2016 Pixel phone can last up to 13 hours of continues use and it is indeed a very good quality, however, the Galaxy S8 have a bigger battery that can last up to 18 hours. Since this latter device is already in the competition, Google Pixel 2 phone should also address this aspect.

In memory storage, Pixel 2016   got a 32GB capacity, but it doesn't have support for an expandable storage. With this upcoming Pixel 2 phone, let us hope the manufacturer would think to add this feature, too.

Probably, the biggest asset of the Galaxy S8 is its full screen display using curved-edge OLED display. Google recently reported to dealing with the LG Display to invest in their OLED technology to use in the upcoming Pixel 2. There is no confirmation whether Pixel 2 will have this feature, but since this thing seems in trends now, there is a good chance we would see this on the upcoming device.
