‘Produce 101’ Season 2 Spoilers: Top 60 Contestants Revealed; First Elimination Takes

"Produce 101" Season 2 has finally named its top 60 contestants. This means that several others were sent home. On May 5, Friday, the top 60 contestants were chosen based on overall scores and rankings from the online votes cast between April 7 and 29. Voters selected the names of the contestants who impressed them in the battle performances and the like. Approximately 247 million votes were cast over the span of three weeks, according to Soompi.

In the challenge, the trainees were asked to sit in front of a mirror and talk to their reflection. Some of them praised themselves while other vented out. While looking straight into the mirror, a ghost suddenly showed up to surprise them. Some of the trainees were so surprised that they fell on the floor, threw a chair at the ghost and screamed.

Meanwhile, another exciting highlight from Friday night's episode of "Produce 101" Season 2 took place when Kim Doyeon and Choi Yoojung made an appearance in the reality TV show. Prior to the elimination, the 98 contestants gathered together for a dance battle.

During their performance, I.O.I. alums Kim Doyeon and Choi Yoojung made a cameo when the song "Pick Me" started playing. The contestants couldn't help but gasp at the sight of the two celebrities. Choi Yoojung also performed a dance number to the tune of "Bang Bang," and the rest of the trainees joined them afterwards.

One of the trainees, Hwang Min Hyun, made headlines after the episode aired on Friday because while all of the other male trainees looked excited, he looked as though he didn't care about what was going on. According to All KPop, Hwang Min Hyun may have looked like he didn't care about the I.O.I alums' appearance because he would often see them as a member of NU'EST. Hwang Min Hyun was recently promoted as the newest member of the group.
