Nokia 8 Release Date & Update: Alleged Powerful Flagship Device Might Launch During WWDC 2017
Nokia's return to the mobile mainstream with the new Android powered smartphones is indeed one of a hit comeback. Now, in the latest news, the company is launching a new flagship device, the Nokia 8.
The Nokia 8 has been in the rumors lately suggested as the company's new flagship handset device after the report claiming HMD Global announced it. Also, an alleged sketch plan or concept of the said device, along with the another handset, the Nokia 9, are leaked online, showing few physical features such as double camera and full screen display.
Both the Nokia and the HMD Global are still silent about these rumors and has not yet issued any confirmations about these. However, despite of this fact, we still got some details describing what we could see in this Nokia 8 device.
The Nokia 8 is allegedly coming with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, one of the powerful processor available in the market today. This technology is use in the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus and other upcoming high-end devices like the Xiaomi Mi 6 and HTC U11. It will be run by Android 7.0 Nougat with its 4GB to 6GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage capacity.
For the price, it is still early to conclude on this aspect, however, reports are predicting the price based on the current market of the similar technology. According to the Value Walk report, the Nokia 8 is expected to cost $699 USD and might arrive next month during the WWDC 2017 event.
Based on these specs, assuming that these are all true, the Nokia 8 can actually compete with the latest handset device today. From the physical design to the internal features and performance, this upcoming Nokia smartphone have a big potential to top on the competition.
