Min Hyo Rin recently opened up about her character, Ji Young, from the upcoming mini-series, "Individualist Ms. Ji Young."

While speaking at the press conference for the KBS drama, Min Hyo Rin admitted that she initially thought she and Ji Young have countless similarities. However, as the taping progressed, she realized that they weren't very much alike.

"I went into the drama thinking that we are similar, but I came out realizing that we are very different," she said. However, if Min Hyo Rin and Ji Young have one thing in common, that is their fondness for doing things on their own. "I always tend to do a lot of things alone, but I wasn't an outcast. I acted like I had a strong mentality when I actually didn't" she said.

At one point, Min Hyo Rin learned so much from her character that she realized if she lived like Ji Young in the real world, she could eventually end up dying. In "Individualist Ms. Ji Young," the lead character is described as an arrogant, emotional and angry woman who doesn't want people minding her business.

Ji Young is also very aloof and indifferent, but her life will change when she crosses paths with Byuk Soo (Gong Myung). The latter is a young man who is afraid of being alone. Byuk Soo finds happiness and gratification from being in a relationship with women. By the looks of it, Ji Young and Byuk Soo will balance each other out and will eventually fall in love.

"Individualist Ms. Ji Young" will be released by KBS on May 8 and 9 at 10 p.m. KST. The series will be taking over the timeslot of "Ms. Perfect." The two upcoming episodes for the miniseries will also feature Ji Il Joo as Yeon Seok, Jang Hee Ryung as Ye Jin and Oh Na Ra as Soo Kyung.
