Mary faces another challenge in "Reign" Season 4, Episode 12. An earthquake forces Mary to get into action and take care of her people. She is forced to defend her throne in the wake of a catastrophe. News spread that she is not coming to the aid of her people. At the same time, she must confront John Knox.

Elsewhere, in England, Elizabeth is seen with Gideon that forces her to take some desperate measures. Details about it remain to be discovered. Meanwhile, Charles makes an important decision. However, it doesn't play out the way it is supposed to be and backfires.
