Lee Sung Kyung recently opened up about her relationship to Nam Joo Hyuk just weeks after they confirmed that they are a couple.

In an interview with Grazia Korea Lee Sung Kyung dished on what it was like for her onscreen partner to become her boyfriend. "Since Nam Joo Hyuk and I are really close, it was easy for me to get into character. It was nice and comfortable while filming. He helped me to be at my best conditions," she said.

Lee Sung Kung and Nam Joo Hyuk confirmed the status of their relationship on April 24. At that time, their agency, YG Entertainment, showed support for the couple's decision to make things official. An insider close to the couple also revealed that the two got together romantically after "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" wrapped up in January.

A series of photos showing the two on their dates were also released online by Dispatch (via Inquirer Pop). Some of the snaps featured the two actors wearing caps and hoodies to cover their faces. They were also spotted riding a car together.

Meanwhile, Lee Sung Kyung also talked about her role in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" and how difficult it was to transition from playing a different character in "Chinese in the Trap." "Being Kim Bok Joo showed the real world to me. From my last drama, I was an antagonist and I didn't change my looks that much. People's first impression is that I'm gorgeous but I don't think I am," she said.

"Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" was inspired by the life of Olympic gold-medalist Jang Mi Ran. The cast also included Nam Joo Hyuk as Jung Joon Hyeong, Lee Jae Yoon as Jung Jae Yi, Kyung Soo Jin as Song Shi Ho, Cho Hye Jung as Jung Nan Hee and more.
