Samsung Galaxy J3  is the new budget-friendly smartphone that has been launched in the US. The phone is now available with an option for monthly installments at T-Mobile.

Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime will be sporting a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution and will be powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 7570 SoC, along with 1.5GB of RAM under the hood. The device is also expected to provide 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD.

In terms of photography, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime features a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front snapper for selfies and backed by a 2,600mAh battery. It also comes with a bunch of connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.1, LTE, GPS, USB, UMTS/HSPA+ and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n.

Meantime, the Indian variants of the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro boast an array of impressive features like SBike and Ultra Data Savings mode. But according to reports, the J series phones are running the older versions of the Android mobile OS in the country. This means that the Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime has everything to offer for customers with a limited budget, Gadget Hacks reported.

Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and will be available at an affordable price tag of $150 for postpaid customers. On the other hand, prepaid customers can get their hands on the new device for $150, although reports state that there is currently an instant discount of $75.
