BTS are officially going to the 2017 Billboard Music Awards! After Big Hit Entertainment hoped for the idols attendance, it is going to happen now. The news broke out after a zealous fan personally tweeted Dick Clark Productions President Mike Mahan whether BTS already got an invite to the event.

According to Allkpop, "Tatiana loves bts," the fan who tweeted, asked the 2017 Billboard Music Awards event president to send an invite to BTS for their "Top Social Media Artist" nomination. On that moment, Mike Mahan replied with "Done."

The official BTS invite news immediately set ARMYs on fire! Everyone cheered for Jungkook, Jimin, V, Suga, J-Hope, Jin and Rap Monster. The tweets between the fan and Mike Mahan also earned lots of retweets from many of the boys avid supporters.

Before BTS' 2017 Billboard Music Awards confirmed invite, ARMYs already moved for the idols invitation. They set up an attendance petition for the idol group. And the staggering names are clearly enough for it, there are 100,000 people who gladly signed.

As stated by Soompi, Bang Shi Hyuk priorly said that he really wanted BTS to attend the 2017 Billboard Music Awards ceremony. It's not only for all South Korean artists but for all the ARMYS.

"I didn't even imagine this happening. It would be great if they ended up winning, but I'm happy that they even got nominated," Bang Shi Hyuk said about BTS' 2017 Billboard Music Awards nomination. It definitely won't be easy for them to win since all the other nominees are amazing, but I do look forward to the effort that our passionate ARMYs will be making," the Big Hit Entertainment CEO added.

Meanwhile, the 2017 Billboard Music Awards ceremony will happen this May 21. BTS will be battling for the "Top Social Media Artist" with Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, and more celebrities.
