Microsoft Surface Phone is one of the rumored devices today. Despite not being teased or announced by the Microsoft company, the alleged Surface phone is highly anticipated by the fans and tech experts worldwide.
The rumors started when the Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella himself even suggesting that they're planning to revolutionize the concept of the mobile phone. As he told to the Australia Financial Review, the Microsoft is currently working on the ultimate mobile device and he also admitted that the company missed the mobile boom.
Although this Satya Nadella's word didn't confirm the Surface Phone name, at least we know that a new mobile phone device is coming from this giant company. If the Nadella didn't even hint the name of the upcoming device, why tech enthusiasts claiming that a Surface phone is coming on its way.
Back in January last year, it came out that Microsoft had obtained the domain name "surfacephone.com." Right now this domain redirects to Microsoft's homepage, but looking at the Microsoft's existing naming conventions for Surface devices such as Surface Book, and Surface Pro. It looks obvious what the intentions of the company may be, but companies often buy up relevant domain names just to stop competitors bagging them, so the name "Surface Phone" may never actually be used, says Trusted Reviews.
Let's assume that this Microsoft Surface Phone is confirmed, this device might come with these following specs; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM with up to 128GB internal storage capacity. Also, an 8 MP and 21MP cameras might attach to this phone. For the physical feature, rumors suggested that it might have a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen display wearing a 1440 x 2560 pixels Quad-HD resolution.
As for now, since the company has not even announced this rumored Microsoft Surface Phone yet, it is not easy to conclude potential price rate and releasing date. No official details released to this phone and all available details regarding this device are based only on the experts' speculations and predictions.
