Samsung Galaxy S8 vs BlackBerry KEYone

Blackberry is still striving to gain back popularity in the modern mobile industry with its new Blackberry KEYone device. The Blackberry devices are known in its physical QWERTY keyboard feature, and in fact, it is still attached to their device which is now powered by Android.

For their mission to climb up on the top of the smartphone industry, they have a big hope on their latest Blackberry KEYone device. However, as stated by the Science Times report, this device might be the company's last and final device into the markets since they haven't been doing that well with sales and popularity.

This Blackberry KEYone is no match if compared to the Samsung Galaxy S8, which considered as the best smartphone on the market today, technically. However, even the KEYone is just on the mid-range level, it still has good features compared to some similar devices.

To determine how near this Blackberry KEYone device to the top, we compared this device to the market's best smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S8. This comparison is unfair, actually. Mid-range level compared to a high-end device might seem nonsense, but let's just do it to see what this KEYone have.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB internal storage capacity, also it is supported by expandable microSD up to 256GB. The Blackberry KEYone, on the other hand, is powered by Android 7.1 Nougat and Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB internal storage capacity, supported by expandable microSD up to a massive 2,000GB.

When it comes to the battery quality, the Blackberry KEYone has an advantage with its 3,500mAh battery capacity, which can last up to an approximated of 25days standby time. The Samsung Galaxy S8 have only a lower 3,000mAh battery capacity, which can last an average of 19 days standby time.

Although the Blackberry KEYone considered only a mid-range device, it still has good features in it that can beat some high-end devices. The device costs $550 USD and now available in the market.
