iPad Pro 2 Release Date & Update: Device Will Arrive In Three Different Size Variants
The Apple iPad Pro 2 might release this June in the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference 2017, or WWDC. Despite of not being teased by the company, tech fanatics seems very sure that the new tablet device will be finally launched.
According to the rumors, the Apple iPad Pro 2 is expected to arrive whether in May or June of 2017, however, the WWDC event is the better schedule. As the source stated,the event draws a more important crowd and gets bigger media attention, a perfect timing to announce the product.
The Apple iPad Pro 2 predecessor, the iPad Pro, was released way back in September of 2015, and as for the experts says, it is time for the company to release a new pro tablet that will reprise the new technology happen in this almost two-year gap. The tablet release was speculated since late 2016, and then moved to a March 2017 schedule. Since the device still did not materialize, enthusiasts now peg their hopes on this June's WWDC event.
Also, as the PCAdvisor reported, the upcoming Apple iPad Pro 2 will be available in three different size variants; a 9.7-inch model, a 10.5-inch, and a 12.9-inch model. Some changes we could also see in the iPad Pro successor are; thinner bezels and no home button, but it will be replaced by a Touch ID sensor.
For the internal specs, the company's newer and faster A10X processor might also use to the iPad Pro 2. The camera will get some improvements as well, like a 12mp quality and a True Tone flash. It is expected to have a 512GB lower capacity, and probably, it will be different in each variant.
The three variants of the iPad Pro 2 will have different prices. The 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, and 12.9-inch, is believed to be available at $600, $700, and $800 USD respectively.
