JYJ’s Kim Junsu Goes On His First Leave Since Military Enlistment
JYJ's Kim Junsu updated his fans about his first leave since entering mandatory military service. The former DBSK member let his social media followers know about his whereabouts by uploading a photo on April 30.
Kim Junsu is looking all healthy and glowing in the photo he took with one of his military senior officers. His caption reads, "You're all doing well, I hope? I miss you all~ Here's to hoping the next time we meet, I will have grown even more as a person.." The caption was followed by a hashtag "#First night out with my senior officer."
This is the first time the JYJ member updated his Instagram since February, right before he left for military service. The last photo he posted was a selfie of him sporting a freshly shaved head. The photo was accompanied by a sweet message to his fans, bidding them goodbye and promising to meet them again soon. Kim Junsu said, "The unchanging love you have given me for the past 13 years. Thank you for all the unforgettable memories. I'm posting this photo because I feel like I haven't given you a proper goodbye. Let's meet again with healthy and happy faces~"
Just last March, photos of Kim Junsu in training as a conscripted policeman surfaced online. The JYJ member is seen in policeman uniform, standing straight and looking serious among other officers in training. The photo was uploaded by the official website of the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, where the singer received two weeks of training.
Kim Junsu enlisted in the military last February in Chungnam Provice, where he underwent initial basic training for 4 weeks. He is currently fulfilling his service in the special promotions unit in the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency. JYJ fans will have to wait until November of next year, when Kim Junsu is scheduled to be discharged.
