Project Scorpio: Everything We Know So Far (2016-2017)

Xbox Scorpio final details, including the release date and pricing are scheduled to be announced this summer. Microsoft is expected to reveal the details prior to its 2017 launch as the main rival gaming console of PS4. However, it appears that a retail store has revealed the details already.

Xbox Scorpio Price Is Likely To Cost More

The upcoming Xbox Scorpio comes with a price tag of €399, or around £335 in the UK. However, reports claim that the pricing could be a major obstacle for the new console, not to mention the conflicting reports regarding the actual cost.

Xbox Scorpio is also described as a premium gaming console that would be priced more than Xbox One S. The company claims, however, that the device would meet the requirements of the higher-end users, which explains the higher price point. Meantime, there are speculations that some details would be announced at the new Microsoft hardware on May 2 under the tagline "Learn what is next."

In other news, a new Windows 10 Cloud OS is reported to be launched as the main show, aimed at targeting the success of Google Chrome OS, and must run Universal Windows Apps as well. There are speculations that this will have an impact on the Xbox Scorpio, although it remains unclear how far would Microsoft go with the integration, Express reported.

Xbox Scorpio Gives Support To "Call of Duty: World War 2" Via 4K

Xbox Scorpio is launching this year with a 4K support for "Call of Duty:  World War 2". This material material was reportedly leaked prior to the announcement of the console's specs.

Meantime, while there has been no official confirmation yet regarding the 4K subject, MIcrosoft is believed to promote the Xbox Scorpio support for "Battlefront 2" as well, Hot Hardware reported.
