Samsung Galaxy S9 Release Date, News & Update: Samsung To Dominate Smartphone World With Snapdragon 845
We have witnessed the high-end features and mesmerizing design of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, but this didn't stop the company to develop an even more exciting device for its consumers. Samsung is reportedly working on Samsung Galaxy S9 with the most powerful processor Snapdragon 845 that has ever imagined by the tech community.
Although recently launched Galaxy S8 has the most powerful processor that has not been used by any other smartphone makers in the world, Samsung is planning to partner with Qualcomm in order to build the successor of the most powerful chipset in the world. The reports are coming from The Investors which noted that Samsung and Qualcomm have already started to work on a new mobile chip for the Galaxy S9. The latest chipset is more likely to be called as Snapdragon 845.
The reports even included that the upcoming Snapdragon 845 chipset will be manufactured by Samsung or TSMC when the development is completed. And a new report even claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S9 is already in the development phase. It is ironical that the reports have emerged at the time when Samsung Galaxy S8 was not even launched.
In Samsung Galaxy S8, the South Korean tech giant has incorporated the most advanced form of the chipset which is rarely available to other smartphone makers. It is highly speculated that the rest of the smartphone makers in the world were forced to delay their launch or they have to launch their device with the older version of the chipset. Still, Samsung wants to embed the latest Snapdragon 845 for its upcoming Galaxy S9 devices.
Samsung has used Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 chipset in Galaxy S8 devices. Both the 10nm chips are faster and more energy efficient than the rest of the chips in the world. The company has strengthened its ground by launching its device with Snapdragon 835 at first basis. Samsung wanted to implement the same tactics for the launch of Samsung Galaxy S9 by embedding Snapdragon 845.
Samsung currently holds the title of the best mobile processor for Android device and it is the only phone with Snapdragon 835 chipset. Although Google, Nokia and the rest of the smartphone makers are having their eyes on the latest chips, Samsung Electronics is going to dominate the mobile world if it will launch Samsung Galaxy S9 with Snapdragon 845.
