Xbox One Update Coming With More Features, Microsoft Announced Big Discount On Selected Xbox Games

New update and features are coming to the Xbox One. Microsoft releases the details regarding this update and it will arrive at the console in the coming weeks.

In the report of Xbox Wire, they cited the key features of the upcoming Xbox One update. According to the site, the update includes an expansion of the Arena feature to again allow players to create and participate in their own "Killer Instinct" tournaments, in addition to those for "World of Tanks," "Smite," and "Halo Wars 2."

The Microsoft also have plans to add a party overlay feature to the Xbox One console. This pops up on screen when someone in the party speaks so that players can easily see who is talking. Of course, players are free to customize the positioning and transparency of the pop-up.

Fan-requested additions are also included in the Xbox One update are; Sharing Looking for Group post on the Activity Feed or through a message, unfollow a Club or Game Hub directly from Activity Feed, Arena tournament history and upcoming tournaments on players' profile, players' will now have an option for Beam and Twitch broadcasts in the Guide for their Kinect to locate automatically.

Captive Portal support for wireless internet is also coming to Xbox One, which allows for Wi-Fi authentication through a browser, very ideal for the public places with wireless internet connection. And on the Xbox app for Windows 10, they are adding the option to select the audio input and output sources for Party chat.

These Xbox One updates are coming soon, however, there are still no official date when it will exactly arrive to the consoles.  On the other news, Microsoft also announced this week's lineup of regular weekly deals for Xbox consoles.
