Lenovo-owned company Motorola has upgraded their lineup with high-end yet affordable devices. Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are recognized for their innovative features at affordable prices. The duo is embedded with features that are similar to Samsung and Apple's latest devices.

Moto G5 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 with 1.4GHz Octa-core processor and an Adreno 505 GPU. The hardware is similar to Samsung's J7 line up which is available at $320, while Moto G5 line up ranges from $190 to $230. Here, Moto G5 beats Samsung's lineup, as the users just don't want to pay $100 more for the same features.

Motorola has even offered a tough competition to Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi. Xiaomi's latest handset, Redmi Note 4 had gathered huge success for its unique features like fingerprint sensor, gorilla glass display, and powerful battery. Moto G5 has even defeated Redmi Note 4 by offering the same features but with style.

According to Huffington Post, Moto G5 has stolen the limelight from Redmi Note 4 with its stylish design. Moto G5 has round corners, brushed metal case and signature camera bump on the back. The device offers a Motorola look and is even 10 grams lighter than Redmi Note 4.

On the other hand, for Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi has just modified the look of its Redmi Note 3 by highlighting antenna lines. Although the device offers an average appearance, the overall appeal is not as good as Moto G5.

Moto G5 is also considered as the strong competitor to Oppo A57. According to Gadget 360, the biggest highlight of Oppo A57 is its 16 MP front facing camera. Although Moto G5 only offers 5 MP front camera, the device has overtaken Oppo A57 with the rest of its features.

Lastly, when it comes to display, Moto G5 has defeated the entire mid-range smartphones with its 5.5-inch full HD 1,080 X 1,920 pixels with gorilla glass display. It seems like the era of mid-ranged smartphones offering high-end features just begins.
