‘EXO' Debut Title Track 'MAMA' Reaches Top 100 Realtime Charts Again
“EXO” fans are very happy with the news that “MAMA” has once again entered the top 100 real-time charts in Genie and Melon. The fans and the group are currently celebrating their fifth anniversary so the timing of this news is really good. Fans all around the world are now expressing their appreciation to the group on Twitter which made the hashtag #5YearswithEXO trending.
According to reports, not only did “MAMA” ranked in the top 100 real-time charts again but also “EXO-K” version reached the 33rd spot in Melon charts, 56th spot in the Genie charts while the “EXO-M” version reached the 98th spot in Genie charts. As of posting, fans are still celebrating the good news as more tweets with the trending hashtag arrive every minute or less. Many have posted and shared the special message “EXO” posted for their anniversary.
EXO is a boy group in Seoul and formed by S.M. Entertainment. The group first debuted in 2012 with twelve members but separated into two groups. The first group is EXO-K or the Korean performers are composed of Baekhyun, Suho, D.O., Chanyeol, Sehun and Kai. The second group, which is EXO-M and performs in Mandarin, consists of Lay, Xiumin, Chen, and former members Tao, Kris, and Luhan.
Their first album was released in 2013 titled “XOXO” which won the group several awards namely Album of the Year at Mnet Asian Music Awards and the Disk Daesang at the Golden Disk Awards. Their album sold more than one million copies, which made them the best-selling artist in Korea in the last twelve years. The following albums they released continued to have impressive sales that they were even ranked by Forbes Korea as the Power Celebrity for two consecutive years. Now, “EXO” is considered to be one of the best Korean boy group in history.
