Korean Art Captures Attention Of Hong Kong Art Aficionados

South Koreans Enjoy Icy Art In Heat

Reports are claiming that Korean art has been gaining the attention of the art aficionados from Hong Kong. It can be recalled that some of the most fascinating arts of Korean artists were put on display at one of the largest art fair in Asia and these immediately attract the attention of those who visited the said art fair.

Hong Kong has been regarded as the third largest art market in the globe and with this, it just hosted this art fair which opened last Tuesday and will last until Saturday. Because of this, the Korean artists are seeking for ways on how they could possibly display their masterpieces until they found their way out in Hong Kong despite the growing domestic crash.

Several top Korean art galleries took part in the said art fair which had been participate by some 34 countries at the Alexandra House as reported on South China Morning Post. The Korean artists who took part in this were chosen from the cream of the crop in order for them to gain the attention of the art collectors and curators who will be visiting the event from all over the world.

Some of the Koreans who exhibited their masterpieces came from the popular 313 Art Project which features the installation of "Ruin" by Park Ki-won and the "Width" painting series. Aside from this, Park Jong-kyu's "Project on Maze of Onlookers" from the Leeahn Gallery has been set on the spotlight too. Both of these mentioned Korean art galleries feature and showcase the contemporary art of Korea.

It can be recalled that Korean's "Dansaekhwa" has gained attention from the international scene which features a Korean monochrome painting. This was also featured and showcased in the said art exhibitions. Meanwhile, Kukje Galley will also include in its collection some of the art collections of Kwon Young-woo which have been selected to be featured in the Kabinett part as per The Guardian.

Most art lovers will get a chance to view some of the Korean art collections and masterpieces which originally gained attention of curators and collectors across the world. Moreover, apart from the viewing, this will also be a perfect place for people who are interested to add a Dansaekhwa art to their collection.
