'Vikings' Season 5 Spoilers, Theories: Seer Reportedly Hints 'The End', Season 6 Might Have Big Time Jump; Ivar, Lagertha, Harald's Fate Revealed
"Vikings" season 5 release date is still under wraps. However, spoilers for the fifth season have been revealed. Ivar, Lagertha, and Harald might be the central focus.
According to a report from Movie Pilot, there are major things that might happen in "Vikings" season 5. This time around, Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) seems to be after more blood. He will not only be after Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) but to a new character named Heahmund (Jonathan Rhys Meyers).
Adding on, Ivar might also have legs in "Vikings" season 5. The aforementioned site reports that he might order Kattegat's blacksmiths to create a set of metal legs so he can finally stand in battle against his enemies. This would be helpful for him especially now that he and his brothers decided to face separate ways after Sigurd's (David Lindstrom) death. "Well, he's, in a way, not evil ... There are many tensions between the brothers which will actually explode in time," Michael Hirst revealed in his AMA Session on Reddit.
Moreover, in Lagertha's side, Margrethe is the newest addition to her gang. As for Astrid (Josefin Asplund), Movie Pilot reports that there is a possibility that she and Lagertha have ended their relationship as a result of the latter's involvement with Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig). However, the conflict is that a "Vikings" season 5 theory hints that the badass leader seems to be getting cozy with Ragnar's son, Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith).
Meanwhile, in the released promo of "Vikings" season 5, Harald (Peter Franzen) seems to be in a good mood as he laughed while wearing a crown. There are theories that the latter might possibly be Kattegat's new leader and he now has his hold in the whole Norway.
On the other hand, as for Seer's message, the latter seems to hint that end is near. Though Hirst already hints two more seasons after "Vikings" season 5, it seems like the note from the character hints more blood as the Viking Age comes to its final course.
"I see death... The consequences of Ragnar's death are not yet played out. You have only seen the beginning of the end. So now, prepare yourself for what is to come." As for "Vikings" season 5 next season, it seems like the sixth chapter might feature a big time jump to fit in the upcoming events in the Viking Age.
