‘Pokemon Go’ Easter Event & April Fools Day Event Might be The Next Big Thing For You
"Pokemon Go" Water Festival is a big success, not only for Niantic but also for the players. Catching the shiny Pokemon Magikarp, Gyarados and Lapras is like a dream come true for many players. Following the success, the Internet is trolling the next possible event that could be released by the company.
Most of the "Pokemon Go" players are betting on Easter and yes that makes sense. If the rumors are true, then it will be a huge holiday event. Niantic just could not take any chance to skip out the event after skipping the event based on Saint Patrick's day.
Besides a "Pokemon Go" Easter Event, there are chances that the company might launch an April Fools day event. The chances that Niantic will launch "Pokemon Go" April Fools Day event are higher than the Easter event. The jokes and pranks can be well implemented in a Pokemon Go event.
We have witnessed that Pokemon Go is incepted only because of a Google Prank back in 2014 and so, celebrating a "Pokemon Go" April Fools day event is very logical. In late 2014, Google has released a trailer called Pokemon challenge. And who knew that Niantic will give the challenge a new and practical face.
In the trailer released by Google, the Pokemon trainers were out in real-world trying to catch as many Pokemon as possible. Not only this, Google even promised a job to the first person for completing the task of catching them all. Our favorite "Pokemon Go" is based on that epic trailer produced by the search engine giant.
But sadly, the epic Google's trailer is an April Fool's prank and when we actually opened the Google Maps there were pictures of Pokemon all over the place. However, Google has no idea about the augmented reality game "Pokemon Go," back then, but Niantic has got the inspiration from the trailer. Let's see what will be the next event for the "Pokemon Go" players, Easter Day event or April Fools event?
